How Oblivion Works collects, uses, and protects your information

1. Overview

Oblivion Works ("we", "our", or "us") is a software company building AI, data engineering, and enterprise solutions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (oblivionworks.in), how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Our individual products, such as MySocials, have their own privacy policies covering the data those products process. This policy applies to the Oblivion Works website and to enquiries you send us directly.

2. Information We Collect

Contact enquiries: When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, typically your name, company, email address, and message.

Technical data: Like most websites, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security monitoring and troubleshooting.

This website does not require an account, does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and does not collect payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to your enquiries, consultations, and project briefs, acting on your request.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of our website and infrastructure.
  • Communicate with you about work you have engaged us for.

We do not send marketing email without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Third-Party Services

This website relies on a small set of external services to function:

  • FormSubmit relays contact-form submissions to our inbox. Form contents pass through their service in transit.
  • Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and Iconify serve fonts, styles, and icons. Your browser requests these assets directly from their CDNs.
  • Hostinger provides our domain and email hosting; enquiry emails are stored in mailboxes hosted there.

Data processed inside our products is governed by each product's own privacy policy; for MySocials, see mysocials.in/privacy.

5. Data Protection & Security

  • Encryption in transit: All traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted using HTTPS with modern TLS. We do not accept unencrypted connections.
  • Principle of least privilege: Only a small set of named operators have access to our servers, gated by SSH keys. We do not run analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
  • Client project data: When client engagements involve access to systems or data, that access is governed by the agreement for that engagement, restricted to what the work requires, and removed when the engagement ends.
  • Incident response: If we become aware of a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected individuals without undue delay and, where required by law, the relevant supervisory authority.

No system is perfectly secure. Report suspected vulnerabilities to hello@oblivionworks.in.

6. Data Retention

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any engagement that follows from it. Server access logs are rotated and discarded on a routine schedule.

You can request deletion of your correspondence and personal information at any time by contacting us; we will remove it from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
